Outreach PMI Buffalo’s Outreach program’s primary goal is to increase awareness of the Chapter and the profession of project management. We work with a variety of organizations in mutually beneficial ways Corporate OutreachOur goal is to promote the project management profession to local business leaders, regardless of whether they employ our members. Community OutreachWe work with local nonprofit organizations in a variety of ways. Educational OutreachOur goals in Educational Outreach are to 1) educate colleges/universities concerning the existence and goals of PMI, 2) educate colleges/universities on the career of project management, 3) recruit college students/alumni/faculty as members, and 4) seek further validation of project management as a career through the accreditation of programs in local colleges.
