Professional Development
PMI Buffalo’s Professional Development program’s primary goal is to delivery quality speakers and events to promote PMI standards and to strengthen stakeholders knowledge, awareness and understanding of Project Management principles, tools and techniques.

This board member is responsible for the planning and coordinating of all educational activities for the Buffalo Chapter. Event Management
We are responsible for planning, coordinating and executing events held by the Buffalo Chapter coordination.  This includes professional days, workshops and dinner meetings.  For information on upcoming events, click here or email:

Certification Training
We are responsible for researching, planning and coordinating certification training.  This can include PMP, CAPM, PgMP and PMI-based training.  We typically hold training in the spring and fall.  Click here for more information or email

Speaker Management
We work to develop and recommend topics our members and non-members alike are interested in through review of survey and demographic data.  We then find and track quality speakers determine the type of event the topic and speaker are best suited for: breakfast, Lunch, dinner, workshop, seminars, pr professional days.  If you would like more information, please email

Director of Professional Development Day Serves the PMI board as the chairman of Professional Development Day.  There are 2 Professional Days on the Buffalo PMI Event calendar year.  The Professional Development Day is an opportunity for our members to continue their project knowledge, through technical project management or soft skills.  The Director leads a committee for 10 people and manages these Professional Day events. If you would like more information, please email  This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
