Newsletters
BUFFALO TRACKS is a quarterly newsletter published by PMI Buffalo chapter. It contains articles about upcoming events, recaps of past events, book reviews, member spotlights, chapter news, PMI global news, as well as articles about project management and related disciplines, tips and tricks, lessons learned and book reviews.
We encourage submissions from all our members. Contributing an article is easy – simply provide full content or a draft you would like us to help edit to communications@pmibuffalo.org.
Contributing an article to Buffalo Tracks will benefit both you and the chapter!
- PMI Buffalo gains a newsletter with more varied content.
- PMI Buffalo chapter members get to share personal knowledge and experience with Project Management peers, and benefit from reading about the experiences of others.
- As a contributor, you will gain valuable experience in journalistic writing before submitting work to professional periodicals like PMI Network magazine, the PMI Today® newsletter, or the Project Management Journal® quarterly.
- As a contributor, you can earn Professional Development Units (PDUs) toward renewing PMP certification. For example – under Category C Self-Directed Learning you can earn PDUs for reading a relevant book. Your book review submitted to Buffalo Tracks can serve as your documentation for claiming your PDU(s)!
